Pecan Latte

School is back in session. Say thank you to a teacher or school volunteer with a cup of coffee. Thoughts? 




Stamps:
   Latte Love

Paper:
   Pecan Pie A-2
   A Little Latte DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Early Espresso 2-1/4 x 2-1/2
   Basic White 3/4 x 2-1/2, 2-1/2 x 2-1/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Calypso Coral
   Early Espresso
   Pecan Pie

Watercolor Pencils:
   Calypso Coral

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Distressing

Accessories:
   Latte Love Dies
   Distressing Tool
   Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped, die cut, and colored the coffee mug, using Calypso Coral and the Latte Love Dies. I added a bit of shading with the Calypso Coral watercolor pencil. You can use a blender pen or a water painter if you care to bleed the color a bit. I chose to leave it alone.

I then adhered the coffee mug to the upper part of the Early Espresso panel. I set it aside.

Next, I stamped and distressed the edges of the sentiment. If you do not have a distressing tool, you can easily use your paper snips.

I then adhered the DSP panel onto the Pecan Pie card front.

Next, I attached the coffee mug panel as shown above, using dimensionals.

I then added the sentiment to the bottom right corner, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a swirl dot to the sentiment and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
