Snow Flurries

I was challenged to create a background, using yarn, white paint, and dark cardstock. Viola, what do you think?

Stamps:
   Big On Christmas

Paper:
   Basic White A-2, 2-1/4 x 4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Basic Black 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Paint:
   Acrylic White Paint
   Champagne Mist Shimmery Paint

Markers:
   Basic Black
   Real Red
   Garden Green
   Tangerine Tango
   Coastal Cabana

Technique:
   Yarn Block

Accessories:
   Sponge Dauber
   Craft Cord (Yarn)
   Adhesive

First, I wrapped some Craft Cord (yarn) around a clear block.

I then dipped it into some Acrylic White Paint and then stamped on a panel of Basic Black. I set this aside to make sure it dried.

Next, I took the 2-1/4 x 4" Basic White panel and stamped the sentiment, using Tuxedo Black ink.

I then colored it with markers, using Basic Black for the hat, Real Red for the ribbon on the hat, Garden Green for the holly leaf, Tangerine Tango for the carrot, and Coastal Cabana to fill in the letters.

Next, I sponged on some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint across this panel to make it shimmer and windy.

I then adhered the panel onto the bottom of the Basic Black panel, and then adhered it to the Basic White card front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
