Living Moments

You can create so many different backgrounds using tissue paper. This is one of my favorites. Thoughts? 

Stamps:

   Mediterranean Moments

   Live Like You Mean It

Paper:

   Basic White A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8

   Tissue Paper

Ink:

   Tuxedo Black Memento

Distress Inks:

   picked raspberry

   mustard seed

   spiced marmalade

Technique:

   Tissue Paper

Accessories:

   Adhesive (Liquid Glue)

   Water Mister

Enjoy this video on Tissue Paper and Watercolor Techniques. She does an excellent job of explaining and teaching us how to make beautiful cards. I followed her instructions.

First, I applied my distress inks on my pad, misted with water, and soaked it up with my tissue paper. The only tissue paper I had on hand was blue, but it still worked.

I then set it aside to dry for about 15 minutes.

Next, I added liquid glue to my Basic White panel and adhered the tissue, scrunching it up a bit, here and there. 

I then stamped an image and sentiment.

Next, I adhered it to a Basic Black matte, and then adhered it to the Basic White card front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
