Valentine Kitty Collage

Have you ever had that day when everything you do is just a bit off? Here is a card I made on one of those days. I could not even get the image straight on the card front. I added, deleted, and changed a few things. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Have a Heart

Paper:
   Lavender Lace A-2
   Pink Passions Scrap
   Naturals White Scrap
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Markers:
   Pink Passion
   Early Espresso/Chocolate Chip
   Basic Black

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Layering Circles Framelits
   Playful Palette Washi Tape
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

The card on the left was the first card I made. My challenge was to rescue the card. It was one of the first cards I ever made, and truthfully, I was embarrassed to send it to anyone. So, the first thing I did was to remove the ribbon and toss it.

I then separated the White & Pink panels.

Next, I die cut each one with a Layering Circles Framelit.

I then took a dark brown marker and colored the cat a bit better.

Next, I added small pearls to the dress, and accented the features on the cat, using a Basic Black marker.

I then adhered the image circle onto the Pink circle and attached them to the center of the card front.

Next, I added some washi tape to the top and bottom of the card as shown.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
