Butterfly Glass

I need to play with this faux glass tile technique some more. Can embossing powder ruin over time? I don't know if there was something wrong with the powder, of if I just heated it too long. Watch the video and give it a try.

Jeweled Balloon

Create your own background panel, using strips of leftover designer series paper. They don't even have to be the same width. As long as the length is the same, you can make it work. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Lift Me Up

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, 4-1/2 x 3-1/4, Scrap
   Real Red DSP Strips
   Basic Black 2-5/8 x 3-1/2

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Punching

Accessories:
   Up & Away Thinlits Dies
   Washi Label Punch
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Washi Tape
   Dimensionals
   Fine Tip Glue Pen
   Adhesive

First, I pulled some leftover strips out of the Real Red DSP pack.

I then adhered them onto the Very Vanilla panel. Flipping every other one to establish a pattern.

I then attached this panel to the Very Vanilla card front, centering it on the top part of the card.

Next, I added a strip of Washi tape to even out the bottom of the card.

I then die cut the hot air balloon, using the Up & Away Thinlits Dies.

Next, I adhered it, using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

I then stamped, punched, and attached the sentiment with dimensionals.

Lastly, I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the balloon.

Printing Four

Make four cards from one large panel. Stamp a 10-1/2 x 8" panel in a pattern. Then cut it into four card fronts, measuring 5-1/4 x 4. Attach each one to a card front to make four cards. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Nature's Prints

Paper:
   Pool Party A-2
   Blackberry Bliss 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:

   Cajun Craze
   Mossy Meadow
   Pool Party

Technique:
   CAS
   4 From 1 - Stamp in a Pattern

Accessories:
   Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems
   Adhesive

First, I made a pencil mark to show the mid-point of the panel.

I then stamped the sentiment in each of the four top corners, using Blackberry Bliss.

Next, I stamped the large leaf with Cajun Craze.

I then stamped the fern, using Mossy Meadow.

Next, I stamped the smaller berry branch, using Blackberry Bliss.

I then filled in the rest of the areas with splashes of Pool Party.

Next, I cut the panel into 4 panels measuring 5-1/4 x 4.

I then adhered each panel onto a Blackberry Bliss matte, and then onto a Pool Party card front.

Lastly, I added a few Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed gems and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

   Calypso Coral A-2
   Inked Botanicals DSP 5-1/2 x 2-1/4

   Sponging
   CAS

Accessories:

   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped a Calypso Coral flower randomly on the Calypso Coral card front as a background.

Next, I stamped, punched, and sponged the sentiment, using the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack.

I attached the sentiment to the card front, using dimensionals.

Watercolor Fear

Do you feel like getting a bit artsy? Here's a watercolor gem for you to try. I am going to choose lighter colors on my next one. Check it out.

Stamps:
   Rose Wonder

Paper:
   Hello Honey A-2, 5 x 3-3/4
   Tangelo Twist 5-1/4 x 4
   Watercolor 4-3/4 x 3-1/2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Re-Inkers:
   Hello Honey
   Tangelo Twist

Technique:
   Watercolor Runs

Accessories:
   Adhesive

First, I sprayed the watercolor panel with plenty of water.

I then added a drop of re-inker and let it run by moving the panel in a direction (up, down, sideways, diagonally, etc.).

Next, I repeated the previous step using both Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist.

I then set the panel aside and let it dry completely before proceeding.

I adhered the Hello Honey panel onto the Tangelo Twist panel and then onto the Hello Honey card front.

Once, the watercolor panel was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and adhered it onto the card front.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Kidney Stone

When it comes to feelings, I choose happy. I am an optimist with rose-colored lenses. Does this mean I never feel sad, angry, disappointed, etc.? Of course not, but since I am in control of how I feel, I choose happy. So, I like the humor on this card. Thoughts?

Stamps:

Tiles

I like die cuts that you can manipulate. Obviously, I left it alone for this card. It does cover the entire card front. Still, I could cut it at an angle to form another shape, or straight forward to make it smaller. Ideas?

Tiles

Stamps:
   Many Mates

Paper:
   Wisteria Wonder A-2
   Almost Amethyst 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
   Basic White 2-1/2 x 1-3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Almost Amethyst

Technique:
   Sponging
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Many Medallions Dies
   Something Fancy Dies
   Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon - 24"
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Sponge
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the tiles, using Many Medallions Dies.

I then threaded the ribbon through the top of the die cut as shown above. The ribbon comes from behind into the first opening on the right, over the first tile and back into the back of the tiles and up through the center of the tiles. The same on the left side. You tie the ribbon into a bow and trim the tails.

Next, I attached the die cut to the Wisteria Wonder card front, using glue dots.

I then stamped, die cut, and sponged the sentiment, using the Something Fancy Dies. I sponged on some Almost Amethyst ink around all of the edges.

Next, I attached the sentiment to the card front.

Lastly, I added a few rhinestone jewels and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here are three other cards I made with different sentiments:

Tiles Tre

Tiles Quad

Brilliant Washi

Can you believe I stamped my own washi tape? What do you think?

Stamps:
   Postage Collection
   Postage Due
   Silhouette Scenes

Paper:
   Only Orange A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), Leftover Strips

Ink:
   Elegant Eggplant
   Poppy Parade
   Only Orange
   Brilliant Blue
   Island Indigo
   Bermuda Bay
   Blushing Bride
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Handmade Washi Tape

Accessories:
   Star Designer Elements
   Adhesive

First, I taped two strips of leftover Basic White paper together. I made sure the strips are touching each other. the tape is placed at the ends of the strips to keep them from moving. I taped three or four sets.

I then gathered stamp sets that had small images, various ink colors, and stickers.

Next, I randomly stamped various images, using various colors, onto the strips of Basic White.

I then decided to grab the Blushing Bride ink pad and slightly swipe it across the strips of paper to tone down the white. (You could also sponge or brush on the color or even use various colors.)

Next, I added a few circle stickers that I had. You want to place the entire sticker on only one strip.

I then took the strips apart and cut them to whatever size I needed for my creation. I did use every bit on various cards.

Once, my washi tape was made, I adhered two strips on each side of a Basic White panel.

I then stamped the girl silhouette image and sentiment in the center of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I added another strip of my washi tape on the bottom of her feet.

I then adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto the Only Orange card front.

Lastly, I added a few Star Designer Elements and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Thank you so very much for being here. I appreciate you taking the time to glance at my work. Please Contact Me if I can be of service.
