Do you ever wonder what you can do with all of those left-over designer series paper strips? Here is an idea. I pieced mine into a pattern and created a card. What do you think? Do you keep the bits and pieces? Or do you toss them?
Stamps:
Four You
Paper:
So Saffron A-2
Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
So Saffron DSP Strips
Rose Red DSP Strips
Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Archival Basic Black
Technique:
Paper Piecing

Adhesive
Cut designer series paper into strips, or use the ones you have on hand. If you are making a vertical or portrait card, then the strips should be 4" in length. If you are making a horizontal or landscape card then your strips should be 5-1/4" in length. The width of the strip can be adjusted to your pattern or design.
I adhered all of my strips onto a Basic White 5-1/4 x 4" panel, and then onto a So Saffron card front.
I then stamped a sentiment in the center of the card front and added a different strip of designer series paper to accent it.
Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
