How fun to play with a stamp set and make a card for a different occasion than the one the stamp set was intended. For example, I used the Beauty of the Season (Christmas Stamp Set) images and combined them with the Simple Sayings II to create a birthday card. What do you think?
Stamps:
Beauty of the Season
Simple Sayings II
Paper:
Crumb Cake A-2
Real Red 5-1/4 x 4
Basic White 5 x 3-3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
Ink:
Archival Basic Black
Markers:
Crumb Cake
Delightful Dijon
Real Red
Soft Suede
Technique:
CAS
Accessories:
Adhesive
First, I stamped my images on the Basic White panel.
I then colored them, using markers:
Crumb Cake - Tree Limb
Real Red - Cardinal, Berries
Delightful Dijon - Cardinal's Beak
Soft Suede - Branches
Next, I stamped the sentiment.
I then adhered the panel onto a Real Red panel and then onto the Crumb Cake card front.
Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
