Ladybug

I found these pieces of designer series paper in a clear envelope. So, I decided to see what I could create. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Dragonfly Garden

Paper:
   Misty Moonlight A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Dragonfly Garden DSP 1-1/4 x 3-1/4 (2), 4 x 1, 2-3/4" Sq.
   Bumblebee 2 x 2-3/4

Ink:
   Misty Moonlight

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Dragonflies Punch
   Ladybug Trinkets
   Braided Linen Trim 21"
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the three strips of DSP to the Basic White panel. I placed the thinner piece in the center and the two same size pieces on a diagonal as shown above.

Next, I stamped dragonflies on the two white corners.

I then stamped the sentiment in the center of the Bumblebee panel and adhered it onto the card front.

I punched dragonflies from the other DSP pieces and adhered them  using glue dots.

I tied the linen trim into a bow on the left side of the card.

Lastly, I added a ladybug, rhinestones, and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

  1. Lots of movement in this nice card! I'm not sure why I have to be "anonymous". I keep trying to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Maybe it has to do with an update that was installed on my computer. Whatever... I'll just have to sign it until this changes! fonda

    1. I appreciate you letting me know it is you. I love reading your comments and so appreciate you taking the time to leave them. I can't remember what my original idea was when I cut these pieces out. Oh well, it works. Thank you so much, Fonda.

  2. Nice layout for using up some small designer papers. Love the addition of the punched dragonfly.

    1. Thank you for your comment and time. The punch is great. It punches out a large and small dragonfly at one time.
