The tutorial that I followed is found at SCS: Die Cut Masking.
Basically, you die cut shapes out of painter's tape. Apply them to a panel of watercolor paper. Add watercolors to create your background. Let it dry completely. Remove the masks and finish your cards. As you can see, some of my watercolors seeped under the masks. Oops!

That background is interesting. I might just give that a try once I get past experimenting with fun fold cards. I'm having a ball doing that. There are plenty of SU! demonstrators who make videos and share ways to make these fun cards. A few names come to mind: Leeann Greff, I think her name is, and Julie Davison. Julie is such a fun person. She has a contagious giggle that makes card-making really fun. I'm enjoying playing in the wee hours of the night when I can't sleep.

DeleteGreat selection of water colors. They really turned out nice and bright on your card stock. I love all the banners too. Nicely displayed.
