I would love to vacation on a spot like this. The scene is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds around you. If only I could choose a picturesque scene like this and actually gift it to someone, I would be in la la land. Thoughts?

First, I stamped my image on a watercolor panel. I used Tuxedo Black Memento.
I then colored my image using my watercolor pencils.
Next, I added water using my aqua painter. I kept a paper towel handy in case I applied too much water.
I cleaned the brush between each color.
I also left some spots that stayed white.
I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the panel.
I adhered it to the Pacific Point card front and added the white panel to the inside of the card.

Sally, this is such a beauty! I love the peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanette. I'm very happy with my result. I have a feeling I probably cannot recreate this. I may try though. Who knows, I might get lucky twice. Thanks for stopping by here.
DeleteSuch serenity in this scene. I wish I were sitting on the banks of the creek and it was warm! It's 49° in coastal NC right now. I think it's a little early for this colder weather!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Fonda! Burr...your temps are our freezing temps. I'm still sitting in front of my computer in my shorts and t-shirt with the A/C blaring. Of course that means high electric bills :( I'm with you at this locale. My imagination still works. Thank you for stopping by and sharing.
