I like the splotchy effect on the sponging. It was not intentional, but I think it works. I actually stamped my images and then decided to sponge the background. What do you think?

First, I stamped the house on the bottom-right corner of my panel.
I then stamped the trees to the left of it. I stamped them several times and even twice before re-inking the stamp.
I then stamped a pumpkin and added some bats.
At that point, I decided to sponge the background with Only Orange and Tangelo Twist. I think the splotchiness adds an eeriness to the night. What do you think?

HAPPY STAMPING!
Nice Halloween scene! Bats fascinate me, and I'm a little afraid of them - just because of stories I hear about them, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI have never been anywhere close to a bat. When I lived in Austin, TX there was a bridge that was infested with them. I avoided the area like the plague. Thanks for your complementary words and for taking the time to share them. Much appreciated.
