First, I colored directly onto the stamp using the various markers listed above. I may have gone over some areas with more than one color.
I then sprayed water on the stamp and stamped my Basic White panel. I let it sit for a bit without rocking or moving it. I then removed the stamp and let the panel dry.
Next, I stamped my sentiment on the bottom-center of my Just Jade panel.
I then assembled my card base. I adhered the Just Jade panel onto the Basic Black and then onto the Cinnamon Cider card front.
Next, I distressed the edges of the image panel. I used a distress tool, but paper snips can work as well.
I then adhered the image panel to the top-center, right above the sentiment, of the Just Jade panel.
Lastly, I added a few enamel dots to the card front and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

I like how you colored on the stamp to make the scene more color realistic. It's a cool technique that I don't do so much, but now that I have some nice new markers, maybe it's time to give it a whirl again!
ReplyDeleteI hope you give it a try. Some stamps are a bit easier to color than others, but misting on a colored stamp always seems to work. I am usually impressed with the result. Thank you for commenting.
