Bow Tie Gems Too
Stamps:
What a Gem (Paper Pumpkin, July 2016)
Paper:
Emerald Envy A-2
Very Vanilla 5-1/4 x 4, 3-1/3 x 5-1/2
Black Tie Optional DSP 1-3/4 x 4-1/2 (2)
Copper Foil 1-3/4 x 4-1/2
Triangles from Paper Pumpkin Kit (7/2016)
Ink:
Emerald Envy
Technique:
Builder Punch
Accessories:
Bow Builder Punch
Glue Dots
Copper Dots Washi Tape
Adhesive
First, I made my three bows using my Bow Builder Punch. I then cut triangles from the kit. I measured these on my grid paper to make sure they were each three inches in length.
I then placed my three sets of triangles onto the Very Vanilla 3-1/4 x 5-1/2 panel. I used glue dots to attach them. I placed the top ones first, then the bottom ones, followed by the middle ones.
I then stamped the three sentiments plus the gem at the bottom.
Next, I built my card from the bottom up. The Emerald Envy is the card base, followed by the washi tape with copper dots on it. I placed two strips on each end. See the card above.
I then added the Very Vanilla panel on top, making sure it covered half of the washi strip on each side.
I then attached the bow ties using glue dots. The copper foil one is in the middle.
Lastly, I adhered the other Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

I really like this card! I love the bows, and the triangular pieces of the card are great! Then, the sentiments are right on!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Fonda. I haven't been anywhere for quite some time. Are bow ties still a thing? Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Much Appreciated!
