First, I took a plastic container and dropped a few drops of Daffodil Delight ink. I added a bit of water - enough to cover the flower from the Pretties Kit. I used a spray bottle to add water. I then dipped the flower into the ink and had the flower soak up the ink on both sides. I then placed the flower on a paper towel and set it aside to dry.
Meanwhile, I cut my card base and adhered the Rose Red panel to the card front.
I then took the designer series panel (DSP) and cut a slit on the lower right-hand side. I pulled the flaps open enough to accommodate my sentiment. I kept the flaps open by adding a brad to each flap.
I then adhered the DSP panel to the Rose Red panel on the card front. If the brads are too heavy for the DSP, you can adhere the DSP onto the Rose Red and then add the brads through all of the layers. (Personal choice)
I then took the dyed dry flower and added some red to the center and to the ends of each petal. The material soaks up the ink rather quickly. I then attached the flower using a couple of glue dots.
Lastly, I added a pearl to the center of the flower and adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
