Thanks Hydrangea

When you have designer paper that is so beautiful, do NOT cover it up. Allow it to shine and make it the focus on your card. This particular 12 x 12 sheet from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper pack only requires a sentiment to complete it. Here I used THANKS from the Ornate Thanks stamp set. I also added a few sequins. What do you think?

Stamps:

Paper:

   Rococo Rose or Highland Heather A-2

   Hydrangea Hill DSP 5-1/4 x 4

   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:

   Gorgeous Grape or Misty Moonlight

Technique:

   CAS

   Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins

   Adhesive

First, I cut my DSP into 6 panels of 5-1/4 x 4. I cut the paper at 5-1/4 from the top and then from the bottom. I then cut each strip at 4" and 4". The other 1-1/2 x 4" strips were set aside for use later on another card or project.

I then stamped a sentiment on the top part of the DSP and adhered it onto a card base. I added a few sequins and adhered the basic white panel to the inside of the card.
