Out on a Limb

I made this background by combining distress inks and water. I applied the ink on my mat, spritzed with water and then pulled it up with my paper. I dabbed it with a paper towel where needed. I then set it aside to dry. As with any watercolor background, each will be unique.

    1. I always seem to make several in one sitting, trying different color combinations. Sometimes I am not happy with it, but if I let it sit a few days I begin to like it and will find a use for it...or I cut it up and use parts. It is nice to have backgrounds at the ready.
