I love the texture on this card. The only thing that is stamped is the sentiment. Everything else is embossed, die cut or sponged. It is a great way to use up scraps. What do you think?

First, I ran the card base through my die cut & emboss machine. I did mist the paper lightly with water to prevent tearing.
I then sponged it using Soft Suede.
I then die cut several leaves using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. I adhered the leaf outlines with glue dots. Everything else is attached with dimensionals.
The sentiment is stamped using Soft Suede. I then just snipped the paper around the sentiment. Of course, this can be changed to whatever you need or want.

Oh my how so many of us could use this message right now. Great card and fantastic sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI love the two leaves that seem to be in two parts! And the background really makes the card!
