This technique offers a masculine look and feel to a card. I say this only because patina is the greenish or brownish tint on metal caused by oxidation over time. Although most things are no longer gender specific, I still associate metal with men. I'm not even sure why because I have handled plenty of tire irons in my day. Anyway, I do like this background displaying a faux patina technique. What do you think?
