Shadows can be created using die cuts and their negative spaces. I never knew how easy this was until my stamping friend, Ann, shared her expertise. What do you think?
Stamps:
Positive Thoughts
Paper:
Gorgeous Grape A-2
Almost Amethyst DSP 5-1/4 x 4
Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
Ink:
Gorgeous Grape
Technique:
Die Cutting
Accessories:
Nature's Thoughts Dies
Pearls
Adhesive
Dimensionals
First, I stamped and die cut on a panel.
I then adhered the panel to my card base. I added the die cut and moved it just a tad to the side. This created the shadow. The die cut was attached with dimensionals.
I then stamped my sentiment and added a few pearls.

Fantastic shadow effect and a wonderful die cut to use for the effect. I loved Ann's challenge too it was the first time I added a shadow effect to a die cut too and now I am looking through my dies for more that will work great for the effect.
