I still have many stamp sets that are mounted on wooden blocks. So, I have to use my stamp-a-ma-jig when I need to be precise in my stamping.
I began by using my brayer to cover my Whisper White panel with Daffodil Delight.
I then added Delightful Dijon to the top two-thirds of my panel.
Notice that the brayer will pick up any indentations or creases that are under your project. You might want to practice on a scratch piece of paper first. Of course, some of us have wooden tables with a natural surface that may not be as smooth as we would like it.
Using my stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped my tree silhouette three times. I added some ground cover by sponging it with Archival Basic Black.
Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and adhered the panel to the Daffodil Delight card base.

Beautiful sky with that technique and great image for the colors too. I feel I have needed so many of these cards here lately. I have been building up my stash with them trying to stay ahead of needing them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa, for taking the time to comment. I know what you mean. Some categories of cards require more than others and at different times. The only predictable category is the yearly birthday celebration, otherwise, we fly by the seat of our pants.
DeleteSally, this is so pretty! Serene and calming!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanette, for your kind words. I'm glad to hear the intention shined through.
