Christmas Snowflake

Don't you just love the glimmer and sparkle of Christmas? This snowflake was made using the Snowflake Thinlits Die that has been retired from Stampin' Up! So, why include it? Take a look.

Stamps:
   Letterpress Winter

Paper:
   Real Red 5-1/2 x 5-13/16
   Champagne Glitter Paper
   Christmas DSP 1-1/2 x 9

Ink:
   Real Red
   Basic Black

Technique:
   Flip/Flop Swing Card
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Snowflake Thinlits Dies
   Glue Dots

I include this card because I continue to use items long after Stampin' Up! retires or discontinues them. So, until they break or run out, you can check my blog for the old mixed in with the new. Click on the follow or subscribe button and you will not miss any of the entries.

First, I ran the Real Red card stock through the die cutting machine using the Snowflake Thinlits Dies.

I then used Real Red ink to randomly stamp snowflakes on the Real Red card: tone on tone stamping.

I also stamped the large snowflake on the snowflake cut out.

Die cut a snowflake out of the Champagne Glitter Paper. Adhered it with glue dots onto the card.

A greeting or sentiment can be stamped on the inside of the card. Merry Christmas is what I stamped.

Used a coordinating strip of Christmas DSP and created a belly band. Adhered the ends with glue dots.

Last week to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration. Click on Shop Now above and check it out.
